Reached via Route E and situated at the top of the Beck, Park Barn has perhaps the best views on the farm, looking back to the Minster and Hall. The 18th century barn and its Victorian yard are semi ruined - please take care not to damage them further. Park Barn is
a roost for Barn Owls and in the open land around the barn, you
may see hares (see below), English
partridge and flocks of golden plover in winter. |
